Visual Product Configurator layering system
The product configuration is based on a layering system. It means that the product is built by assembling multiple layers. Those layers are images representing each part of the product.

1. The layers
The layers are images representing each part of the product. For example, let’s say your product is sunglasses. Each configurable part has its own layer. In this case, we have four of them. The front, the lenses, the right arm and the left arm.
The number of layers depends on the your customization options. Each option will have its own layer. For example, if you have 4 color variations of the front, you’ll need 4 layers for the front.
2. Final result
Now that you have all layers of your product, Visual product configurator will merge them into one layer so that you get the final product image
